Did you know that peacocks live in forests and eat the poisonous plants that no other animals can eat? Instead of being poisoned though, the peacocks were created by God to transform the poisons into beautiful and vibrant feathers. The peacock’s plumage is a living example of turning poison into beauty. This amazing animal is a symbol of how suffering and pain can yield strength and beauty. The peacock is considered a symbol of rebirth.
I’m glad you found me. If you’ve landed here, it’s either because you’re searching or because someone recommended you check me out, which probably also means you have questions. Do I have answers? Some, for sure! And sometimes I just have more questions, which leads me upon the Path again, and that’s part of the Journey.
So, let me guess – one of the following (or more) things may be going on for you –
- You’re feeling stuck~
- You’re feeling lost~
- You’re feeling disempowered~
- You’re feeling angry and don’t know what to do with that anger~
- You’re feeling like maybe you’re done being here.
- You want to make a change in your life – maybe a BIG one – and you don’t know where to start.
- You’re in PAIN – physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, financial, relational, and/or psychological.
Or, maybe you’re questioning –
- Your life…
- Why you’re here…
- What went wrong* (after all, I did all the right things everything they told me to do, and look at the result!)…
- Why the pain doesn’t seem to go away and keeps coming back…
If you’re on the web doing searches and you’ve found yourself here, odds are pretty even that talking to your friends over cocktails isn’t working anymore. And blaming everyone isn’t making you feel any better either. You may not be in a good place right now and it’s too scary to tell anyone the depth of the pain and the fear. I do know how that feels and have probably had many of the same fears, so I can safely say I’ve been down in that proverbial hole they joke about. You know the one. If you don’t, read on, if you do, you can skip over.
I’ve been in the hole and I know dozens of ways out.
It’s long been my belief that we’re all having the same experiences, they just look different from one person to the next.
Betrayal? – – – Check. My guys probably weren’t your guys….
Lost love? – – – Check. Again, my guys probably weren’t your guys….
Financial destitution? – – – Check. We may have different banks!
Questions of faith? – – – Check. Faith in yourself, your fellow man, God…
Thinking about ending it all? – – – Check. But I’m still here!
Wondering why bad things happen to good people? – – – (I highly recommend the book!)
Feeling stuck in an unresolved situation and it feels like Groundhog Day? – – – Check.
Wondering what the purpose of life is? – – – Check.
I have some answers, I have great tools,
and I have a way of getting to the bottom of things quickly.
I like fast, lasting results.
I don’t believe you have to lay on a therapist’s couch for 20 years, which is ironic because in college I was planning to be a therapist.
“People plan; God laughs.”
Healing in the 21st Century
“The doctor of the future will give no medicines, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame in diet, and in the causes and prevention of disease.” ~Thomas Edison
Edison was a smart guy. Even 100 years ago, he knew what we are just coming to understand – that 85% of all illness, pain, and physical symptoms are caused by our emotions – the mental/emotional/psychological hurts, wounds, boo-boos, worries and stresses that we carry around with us. Much like Santa and his sack of toys, we are carrying baggage around with us – like a constant shadow. It impacts our health, our relationships and our ability to heal. Prescription drugs can help, but often they have their own shadow – in the form of side effects or even addiction. Frankly, we just can’t wait anymore for western medicine and doctors to catch-up with what Edison knew….
Healing in the 21st Century is moving from a Newtonian model to an Einsteinian model.
Newton’s model sees the world as intricate mechanisms. If you have cancer in a part of your body, that’s the part of the body that gets focused on. Einstein talked about the relationship between energy (our thoughts and emotions) and matter (our bodies). Vibrational medicine, a.k.a. energy medicine, uses specialized forms of energy to positively affect those energetic systems that may be out of balance due to disorganized energy.
Have you ever had the experience of using a garden hose? You pull on it, and it gets kinked-up; the water can’t flow thru – and then you pull on it, or flip it, hoping that it will straightened itself out, so the water will flow. Usually the kink just gets worse and now what was just a trickle of water, stops. The energy flowing thru our bodies operates in much the same way. All of a sudden we notice a kink –something’s not working the way it used to or the way we want it to. We hope it’ll straighten itself out, but worrying just makes the kink worse.
When the energy stops flowing it results in pain, lethargy, depression and lingering symptoms that sometimes cluster together. Clusters of symptoms are given a label which equates to a diagnosis. We’re all unique. That’s why diagnoses, medicines and even courses of action are not a one-size fits all solution to what’s ailing us.
When you look at time, Western Medicine is relatively young. Acupuncture has been used in healing for more than 4,000 years. The 19th century saw the rise of what we consider modern medicine. Every healing system is in a state of growth. As we move thru the 21st Century all energetic systems (the internet, societies and healing modalities) will continue to expand, morph and compliment the evolution of our expanded selves. The same old, same old, will just not serve us in the same way anymore.

Who is Sam McCartin?
Sam McCartin, Holistic Practitioner in the Emotional Freedom Technique, Certified Energy Medicine Practitioner and Ordained Interfaith Minister
A long-time spiritual seeker.
I love to take on the role of trusted guide to deep healing and spiritual development. For decades, friends, and even people I hardly knew, would pour out their life stories and ask for advice, finding me to be the safe haven they needed at the time.
Through my professional training in the Emotional Freedom Technique, I believe I can free up whatever is blocking someone’s view of their Life Purpose, if they are feeling stuck, or just unsure of the Next Step in the Journey. In this way, I can help co-create for an opportunity for expansion into uncharted territory.
My old soul wisdom runs deep. I can help chart a course and cut through the chaotic thicket of modern- day demands and unexpected problems.
A quick thinker, I “connects the dots”. In the process of an EFT session, people may be able to come up with ideas that previously they could not have arrived at prior to the clearing and releasing work of EFT.
It is my deep-seated desire to share my knowledge and training with as many people as I can get my hands on to share the ways EFT can change people’s lives. EFT recognizes the link between mind and body. People can unconsciously sabotage their ability to move forward by something as simple as one negative thought that might come up for them repeatedly throughout any given day.
I believe that in addition to the wonders of western medicine we are awakening to a time when energy healing offers us an opportunity to work on the root areas of our experience where illness and pain originate.
Combining EFT with my training and experience as a Certified Energy Medicine Practitioner is a powerful combination that allows me to clearly see and feel my clients, and guide them where they want to go.
Please email me or call and I will return your call at a later time. When you leave your information, please let me know a window of time that would work well for me to call you, and of course, your phone number. When I call, plan to have a brief chat, so that you can give me a sense of what’s going on, and we can take it from there.
E.F.T. – Emotional Freedom Technique
(Tapping on meridian acupuncture points)
EFT has been successfully used for decades to address anxiety, chronic illness, cravings, depression, PTSD and release from traumatic events. While it does not erase the memories and lessons learned, it neutralizes the pain of old memoires, traumas and stress.
Energy healing brings the body and energy system to a place of remembering its state of well-being and alignment, much like re-booting a system, releasing what is being held as a block in your system. Clients often experience peace, or that feeling of opening up to life and its possibilities, like an Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I have a friend who’s struggling. She’s in so much pain and agony because things in her life just aren’t the way she wants them to be. I know that place; it’s frustrating and agonizing – agony really is the better adjective here. Like so many times in life, the answer is simple, but not easy. We’ve been gifted with choice – a.k.a. free will… to make choices. Why is it then, that when we use our free will to make choices, things don’t go the way we want them to?read more
How many times have you heard this lament, or expressed it yourself? This was one of the poor-me attitudes that I heard growing-up and adopted, blank-minded myself. “Why isn’t life fair!”, “Why does this stuff always seem to happen to me?”, “How come…… (fill in the blank)…… this never happens to other people!”, “How come they get all the good stuff!”, “Woe is me.” I really knew how to throw myself a whopper of a pity party.read more
